Default Front shock absorbers

Is there a difference in the shocks for the rover 75 and the zt.

I'm just in the middle of fitting new front springs and found that the offside shock absorber is kaput, just slides in and out with no resistance.

Was looking on eurocarparts website and they don't list a shock for my ztt but do list one for the 75 both the same engine.

If the rover one is ok to use with zt springs then I'm off to euros tomorrow for a pair that they have in stock.

They are very different, not just in damping rates, but also travel and spring platform mounting.
