Great to see you guys again; thought you'd abandoned us BOF's. Look forward to seeing you again at the Ugly Duckling for more of a chat

Not a Lagoon in sight either

Sorry I couldn't make it, Camberley's my home town and my parents live less than five miles from the place.

Next time fingers crossed.

Yes, a great meet, good food, and thanks again Peter for arranging.

For those who are wondering .... the things on my car that Cliff spotted that he doesn't have on his....

1. A grubby alternator ... it would give Cliff something to make shiny ... something not available on Cliff's car!

2. A Traction Control motor .... but I'm sure neither of us drive hard enough for it ever to do what is was designed for......

3. A probably unnecessary piece of (Project Drive?) black plastic trim, covering part of the power steering pipework .... something else to clean up with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care!

4. ....and an unidentified, what looks like some form of Sensor plumbed into the power steering pipework. Neither of us knew what is was sensing ..... other than Cliff's jealousy that I've got one!

Good to mingle in the car park afterwards, and see our cars in a bit of sunshine for a change!

Thanks for the pics, Cliff. If you come near my car with your toolbox I'll be watching you carefully!

Happy Roving all.

John

Paul, it would be really great if you could make it with one of your Lagoons. We're a friendly bunch and the breakfasts are addictive as can be witnessed by some of our waistlines
See you soon

An embarrassing confession: A few days earlier I had all the wheels off for cleaning, and gave the plastic archliners a nice new coat of tyre paint. Sunday morning I looked out the window at all the puddles in our road, and just couldn't bring myself to drive through them with the National only next week .

First time I've ever been that "precious" with the '75, and hopefully the last . We arrived in Mrs Teflons Hyundai and parked in the adjoining carpark hoping no one would notice.

Would be good to see you at the next Frimley meet. It will be May, usually the 2nd Sunday, but can be subject to change.

Cheers,

Cliff
