Fitted a radio today:

"In the state of setting, you can access to the functions as follows:"

Another ridiculously cheap product from the peoples' republic.
Works great!

test run chillin' to the velvet underground...

Sat in it and drove it back from Bridgwater. Still a nice relaxing way to cover a few miles.

The first car my son drove was my 75. He learnt to drive in it but used a smaller car to take his test.

As it was a company car at the time he was insured at no cost, although we would have been responsible for the first £500 in the event of any claim.

Today i fitted the coolant level sensor kit that I bought from member Lovel. What an excellent piece of kit and nice clear instructions . Now have nice new expansion tank with a sensor that will trigger the low coolant symbol on the ipk as mg rover had intended

Hi Mate

How was the fitting, I have one as well but it's being Hydro dipped at the moment then I will hopefully fit myself, did you need to bleed the system ?

Many thanks Keith

The fitting was straightforward, just routing the sensor cable around the engine bay took the most time. I just syphoned out the coolant in the expansion tank with a bit of washer tubing and slowly refilled it .

I braved the chill to fit a fuel burner to the diesel, I just need a dosing pump now and it will be all toasty
