Taking her back today for a fasting blood test, rather than having it done at the surgery and being passed through various departments she was told to go directly to the hospital.

Many thanks Rod for your reply, have not commented on your situation ,as I am not very good at putting forward my feelings to your problems, all I can say is hope she is in good hands and is as comfortable as possible.

Apparently it's my fault for cooking big portions

I've done a full roast chicken dinner for tea.....begger! just remembered I've forgotten to make the sage & onion stuffing!
