Default Loton Park Hill Climb Circuit

I am doing something different tommorow, off to Loton Park near Shrewsbury to watch people tearing up a steep hill in things like F1 Cars.

Anyone ever been before?

Loton Park, absolutely brilliant place!
Something for everyone as Loton hall was also open across the road.
My kids had a wonderful time "pitting" for several drivers or tearing about in the woods.

An enormous variety of cars were present it was not overcrowded and there was only one big crunch all day!

Next month (23rd - 24th of June) will be a pre war vintage event

There were some wonderful cars there both on and off the circuit the two Jags were crackers, The Audi was evil on the Hill, The MK1 Cortina lost it twice! Only one other ZT in the car park though.

Most of these were hand held at 300mm with a small boy in tow!

Keith,

Great pictures!

First i have heard about Loton Park, no distance at all from me, i think i may have to come along to an event with the little'n, she'll love all the cars and noise - especialy if an ice cream might be on offer

I had heard about it but never got around to going
you should have seen some of the kit in the car park!

The only naf thing all day was when a bunch of boy racers turned up in a couple of Scoobies with those silly Vortex generators on the roof everyone in the paddock laughed!

Next one I will go to is the VSCC event in June

There were two Ice Cream vans, Beer Shed, Club shop, Food and Trade stands and there is a farm shop which is part of Loton Hall on the other side of the road which had some really good stuff in it as well.

Like the orange Ginetta G27, second only to the ZT-T, of course!
