Yeah, seems the best of the two options.
I've a few other things to sort on the car first which will need to be done this month, hopefully the offer will persist a while.

As a follow through my car is now decatted on a mild steel exhaust system just home earlier, with egr bypass and full service happening satuday. And ive just done the air intake mod earier in the week.

Couldnt beleive the difference in how the car revs with the cat off it. Actually like ive stepped into a petrol, and happily pulls until 4.3k with the auto box much stronger now.

Cant wait for the remap for my birthday!

An update on this, several people have already had their maps completed and its smiles all round, including a certain V6 160 owner!

Mines soon, cant wait.
