Default advice, point me in the right direction.

Hi All,i decided a while back that i would have a go at reinstating hi line sat nav system in my car,it had a early version of navall fitted that was very glitchy and worked when it felt like it,but as i have tried to proceed i realise that the original loom has been chopped beyond my ability too repair,so was wondering should i just get another after market stereo?or can anybody recommend somebody in the Manchester are who could look at the wiring for me?the original system was a hi line with harman kardon.i have all the components, video and radio module, board monitor, and sat nav drive, much appreciated
