is there a way at all to fit one without ripping out the stereo again folks.

It transmits a FM radio frequency that you can tune your car radio into.

do you just switch your stereo to aux and plug in fag lighter then,and plug your phone into that.please excuse me I'm not very good with technology.

Not quite. You plug your phone into the unit and that into your cigarette lighter socket, the unit will transmit that signal via FM radio frequency then all you have to do is tune your car radio to that frequency. As far as your car stereo is concerned it will be no different to receiving any other normal radio station.
The second unit i posted has bluetooth built in which means that, assuming your phone has bluetooth, you can connect it wirelessly.
