Well its almost stopped raining here, just that stupid fine drizzle, thats neither use nor ornament. too late to go out and do any work, as its 10 miles to the job, and for what I will get done in a couple of hours, it will cost me more in fuel there and back. Might as well just get the tea on for grumps when she gets in.

Been dry all day here of course........well it would be now we are back from the boat

The doc said with the knee op on the aneurysm, I could bleed to death on the table and he then went through all of the other things which could go wrong. I think they say these things to cover themselves. I told him that I want to have 4 units of blood, cross matched and ready to go and there should be another surgeon to clamp off any 'bleeders' etc, as no one should bleed out like that. He said, don't worry, you will be in a 2 million pound high tech state of the art theatre, dedicated for the purpose. How reassuring I asked him how long the synthetic graft will last. He said years

A belly cut for the second op, sometime inside 2 weeks. I had the same pep talk, but not going to worry about it Julien. I have been expecting it, so not a shock. But sadly, I won't be able to make the Alan Jay meet or the next meet at the Lido.

I am to have 2 ops, one next week. I have to have an MRA scan first using carbon dioxide instead of iodine for contrast. From the scan, the aneurysm behind the kneecap, can be measured up for an artificial graft to fit properly. The abdominal aortic aneurysm is 'safe' and does not need surgery......phew! relief

Phil, all I have to say is that you are truly a remarkable and brave man . A lot of people would have given up on life now and succumbed into the depths of depression by now but you just seem to soldier on, I salute you .

Just been out to Aldi to restock the cupboards & it's roast chicken, Sweet potato fries covered in polenta & herbs, and asparagus for Tea

First on the agenda egr valve taken off and cleaned.



Then on to the none working A/C

Usual suspect silver resistor.Being the wrong way round did not help it much.



All systems go now up grade fitted.

Fan whizzing round.At least you can get to by just removing the grille not like face lift bumper of job.



Bit of bling torpedo badges fitted
