Switch holders
I'm out today hopefully to get a couple of trim blanks to do my usb mod. So my question is, is it possible to remove the holder for the heated seats switches that live behind that panel? If so, how and do I have to remove all the climate unit and ashtray to do it or is it fixed in?
I want to pop it out to use as a template for cutting through the blank. Cheers all

Pop the tab lighter door down, and you can flick the switch panel covers off with your finger
I normally use a gash five hole switch fascia, clamped face to face with a one I'm cutting holes into to mark the aperture with a scribe. Then you simply chain drill out the hole you want and finish off with a file Brian |

It's very easy to take the climate control module out, pull fascia off then 4 screws and a plug.
Give you loads more room to see what your doing. |
