Default 04 MGZT 180 aircon.temp.

04 MGZT 180- when the AC is set to "Lo" what does that mean? is it keeping the car internal temp at a pleasant environment compared with the outside temp.? I am assuming it doesn't produce a blast of icy cold air as on my old Rover600? Chris S.

Lo means it will get the car as cold as possible, blast of icy cold air (if aircon working correctly.)

Thanks Richard, I thought it might be a bit cleverer than that as it is a climate control and the owners manual advises you to use the system all the time. Do you know if there is a sight glass anywhere under the bonnet, I'm still living in the 1980's with my Rover600 technology! Chris.S.

No, there isn't a sight glass Chris.

The 'LO' setting is effectively a manual override of the temperature regulation system. You have the best of both worlds.
