Default Dash cam with Navall 2

My dash cam used to start on boot up and occasionally got warning that cam had stopped working. Now seldom starts on boot and after running for a while it goes off with no warning.
There is loads of space on card as I removed all but two of previous recordings.
Anyone with suggestions of possible causes please feel free to comment, suggestions are welcome.

You will loose any apps that you installed.
You could try to do a back up but to tell the truth any backups I have done with Android devices have failed when trying to reinstall. These have been on various Android phones and tablets Etc and never tried to make one from my Nav 2 or my Nav3.
Ken.
