The venue was changed as the Village Inn is shut for building work. Rogue posted the new venue earlier. I went to the Village Inn to see if anyone else arrived by mistake. No one turned up so I left.

Sorry you missed out. Unfortunately we were not aware of the closure until last Thurs when i went to book tables as there was extra interest. I did PM you about it as soon as i found out as well as post on this thread.

I hope you can make the next one which should be at the Village inn again as they are due open again on the 23rd of this month.

A good meeting, nice to see some new faces, i personal think that this last minute change of venue needs to be our new meeting place.

I agree that the venue was nicer and the food was very good. However, you have to book early as it gets very busy whereas at the Village Inn no problem parking and will always get a table and you can just turn up and if you can't make it at the last minute not a problem.

I contacted Lloyd from Kings Lynn on the 75/ZT Facebook group who joined us last Saturday so for our next meet I was thinking of placing a post on their FB page and anyone who wants to join us just turn up. Still, that's only my opinion.

Looking forward to our next meet.

While i am not adverse to the idea of moving venues i think it would be worth seeing what the Village Inn is like after the refurbishment as Dave has a couple of good points so i propose we meet there next time and can get a consensus of opinion then if everyone is ok with that?
