Default Replacing door opening cable

is this a big job?and do you have to take the door card off? have had a look through the how too's but can't find a guide, thank you guys for any input have tried the quick fix with crimpers but only last short while. not a job for me at the moment but info will help grandson,-------GARY

Not hard at all you do have to take door card off did the job yesterday as I had to change lock just hooks in this is what I followed hope it helps
