75 alarm upgrade possible?
I decided to test my factory alarm at the weekend by opening the bonnet and holding down the alarm switch, locking the car and waiting for 30 seconds, release the switch and all is working fine.
As the alarm is only activated if doors boot and bonnet are opened (no sensors in my Club SE) ... is there an upgrade available that could be connected to the factory alarm system that would allow for exterior 'shock sensing' ie: breaking glass, car being hit while parked etc: ? or would it have to be an after market alarm upgrade accessory ? in which case would have to be installed by an auto sparky as I have the mechanical aptitude of a grapefruit ! |

Yes, if you get the ultrasonic detector from a 75 or zt, tis can be retrofitted and a t4 session will have it working.
