My office overlooks back garden, watched a whole rake of tiles blow off a neighbours roof earlier on.
Garden fence blew over and damaged next doors plants. Pretty pathetic excuse for a fence, needed replacing anyway. |

But for those Interested in such things as weather/news reports. Mid & North Wales. Floods from Rivers overflowing banks. Trees Down across Major & Minor roads 10000 Homes with no Electricity 2 Villages not accessable due to Floods No Trains as 2 Lines are Flooded Can't go over Bridges as they closed or 10MPH restrictions (no Lorries) so difficult access to the Island Ferries now cancelled at Hollyhead to Ireland Im going to Bed! My shed is in bits in the garden! Thank god I never assembled it!
Not looking forward to tonight, I'm about to take a lorry from here up to Birmingham and back via Oundle. I've normally left by now, but trucks aren't back from France yet so 1am start for me at the moment I'm normally in Brum by then! |

Tree blown over at bottom of road and another one squashed a couple of parked cars on the main road towards the A38 out of Lichfield (so I was told). A very large chunk of masionary decided to take a dive from the building I work in... Smashed on a temporary traffic bollard just feet from passing pedestrians
Luckily we're a bit sheltered where I work and where I live but else where I've been hearing tales of destruction and doom.... |
