If you are using an Android phone then find the Playstore app on your phone and once there search for Tapatalk and you can install it from there.

cheers, found it. The phone is a Sony Experia. I have had to Google to find out what an Android phone was, I thought it was a phone but it seems to be more like an operating system.

I use ID mobile now as it gives 30Gb of data unlimited calls and texts, supports wi-fi calling and free roaming in case I go abroad. It also rolls over any unused data to the next month
So at the moment I have over 59Gb data allowance remaining.

It's £8 a month

Russ that is a good deal. When the contract is up I will have to come back and ask for the cheap deals, I did not find these on the net.

I do now have a data and unlimited calls deal with Sky which costs £5.70/month but I only use the phone for calls when needed. After the rare call I remove the sim card from the phone and place it in a wifi box to provide for my internet use. It won't suit everyone but it does me as a light user who does not stream movies or download much and it has enabled me to bin the landline.
I would say that is a good deal.

Is that the name of the company?

Yes, Android is a more open source OS.

Hi Kev. The problem with it is the data allowance of only 3GB which on its own does not cover my use. I rely on the data allowance of a previous and more expensive deal with Sky and it is data which I've amassed under Sky's scheme which allows you to rollover and keep in reserve any unused data. What I have left should last me into next spring at the least but sooner or later I will need something with more data to replace my current deal.

Hopefully Sky will offer something better as I would like to stay with it. I've been with it for a few years now as I've found its customer service to be good and customer service and a proven track record is something that I've come to value a lot more in recent years after chasing cheap deals in the energy sector and experiencing one failed company. Had a close shave with a couple of other failed energy companies too one of which tried to scam me out of several hundred GBP that I had saved for my winter fuel bills. Took almost one year to get that sorted via the ombudsman with the default position being for the energy company to be allowed to keep my money if I did not respond in time to the ombudsman or if for any reason I could not continue with the case.
