Question rover 75 tv

can anybody tell me where i can get the tv and radio units tested
i live on hampshire / surrey border -- hindhead on a3

thanks for reply Tim

basically plug into anyother car to see which one is faulty

problem is i have audio on everything except tv so this could be either radio or tv

Hi,
not a good idea to post personal stuff on any forum m8, I speak form experience

I am sure keith can come up with a solution soon, he is the guy to ask on this sort of stuff

Andy good spot I missed that, Bob not always a good idea posting private info the google bots will collect it and before you know it you will have won a hedge trimmer that you must collect from the north pole!

As for your nav bits hopefully someone local to you can help test otherwise maybe a dealer with another Hi-Line car could do it.

And if you really get stuck stick them all in a box and I will check them for you

Default rover tv nightmare

i would not post unit -- but take car etc to venue -- anywhere !!
i'm just trying to get the fault diagnosed
and any advise on bmw tv / radio equivilates or if there are upgrades
-- if either of them need replaceing

ex-rover dealers say the parts are unavailable

Robert,

Can you give us a bit more info on your problem...

1... Radio/ Tv has been operating for past .... xx months trouble free ?

2... TV picture is good, only sound problem on TV

3... How/ when did it fail, any... water in the area, settings changed, other electrical work carried out in the car before the fault ?

4... In TV mode, under the SET menu is Great Britain selected ?

5... Have you tried the usual disconnection of the battery/ cup of tea repair ?
