Default For those going to the New Forest Meet.

For all you who are attending the meet this weekend, Please remember that the natives are really quite friendly, if a little furry!!!

And a couple more taken in the forest today.

Great Piccies there

I went camping in the New Forest way back in the late 80's.

I forgot how beautiful the area is. I remember going for a walk with my (then) Girlfriend and we stumbled across a family of Deer grazing in the woodland, who seemed to show little concern for our presence - Amazing.

I got my Camera (albeit a cheap one) and Camcorder ready for the event this Sunday and I am looking forward to not only the Meet and mixing with members, but visiting the Area again and the Motor Museum.

One thing that comes to mind after seeing those pictures, the animals will come up to you but please don't feed them

Thanks

They don't look before they cross the road, so keep your speed down even 40 can be to high to stop quickly.

Did the very same thing in '81. I have rellies in Hythe and we were there for my cousin's birthday. Whilst there we visited Bucklers Hard, so I know what a lovely part of the world it is. Any members who have never visited the area are in for a treat. Just wish I were able to attend.
