Today's lunch
Something I haven't seen before - a double yoked duck egg! Plenty of double yoked hen's eggs yes, but this is a first for me. By the way, wouldn't dream of buying hen's eggs if duck are available. Much nicer. I'm lucky to have a farm shop nearby which has usually got them. They have goose eggs too when they're in season, usually Feb/March and early summer in the UK. Now there's an omelette for you!
Chad.

You really ought to try one Derek. More flavour and more yoke. Delicious.
Chad.

I'd need to win the lottery to afford the petrol! Thanks for the offer though.
