have i got one
Probably asked many a time BUT, on my CDT, does it have a AIR CON system? I can see ECON and Auto, and when i put it on AUTO the temp says 16*, does it get any colder..No manual with this so can't read up..I have what looks like a AIR CON box under engine.....Cheers ADA

You have climate control/aircon, but it may not be working properly. What year/mileage is the car?

A re-gas sounds right to me too... Will cost approx. £40-50 some garages even offer a money back guarantee if they can't make you aircon any cooler.
Saying that you might want to get the pipework of the system checked too. My garage spotted that one of the pipes had worn through, being located so close to a moving part, this had then caused a leak. A new pipe and a re-gas will sort it out though. |

If a regas gets it going, make sure the slow speed fan runs continuously when you have it in Auto mode. If the fan doesn't run, you will probably get the emergency high speed pulsing on-off every few seconds. Come back with your results.
