Default Automatic gearbox - advice needed

Has anyone tried LUCAS TRANSMISSION FIX STOPS SLIP?

I'm planning to change gearbox oil this weekend and just want to know is it a good stuff.

Any reco from your side ?

If it aint broke don't fix it. Just stick with the oil change. Other posts here seem critical with the type of oil to use. But then again this is just my opinion.

i would stay well away form any additives ,if the gearbox is ok then just stick to a fluid change

hm...I read somewhere that guys from Ashcroft always add red Lubegard to ATF when they rebuild gearbox.

I must say that I haven't found any comments about lucas product, but Lubegard is pretty much "present" on the forums.

Anyone tried Lubegard products ?

Default Additives

In something like 5 years on the forums I have never heard of this product.
The Jatco box is very sensitive to the type of fluid used and I would not use any additive.
When I asked Ashcroft years ago which fluid to use they recommended Dextron and that was definitely not correct as I subsequently found out when exhaustively searching further
