75 Tourer aerial?
My newly installed 2din Xtrons has some problems in finding radio stations. Is the shark fin on the roof the only aerial in the car? Is there some aerial amplifier hidden somewhere?

The radio aerial is located in the off-side load area window.
The aerial is prone to the elements being damaged by previous owners putting too much in the load area and the load rubbing against the glass and breaking the elements. The aerial amplifier is located in the roof above the offside load window. I would check that the aerial amp has a 12v supply [12v taken from the radio plug]. Also check for broken aerial elements [you can see the elements in the picture]. Dave T Last edited by Duotone; 20th October 2018 at 17:08.. |
