Aircon help!
My ZT has been off the road for 6 months and is now back on. I needed to use the ACC system earlier this week but I was surprised to find that cool air wasn't blowing out.
I need some help diagnosing it. I have changed my spark plugs recently, and needed to disconnect what I believe is the trinary valve plug from the AC pipe, so I could gain access to the bulk head plates to remove them. Hasn't worked since then for definitely. Things I've checked:
all help is appreciated, I could be very low on refrigerant but want to rule out everything else. |

If your gas is low, the pressure switch won't allow the AC to work!

There is a wire connected to the compressor to engage the clutch when ac is switch on/needed, if not connected no aircon. Perhaps worth a look/check.

The AC will run until it gets too hot then the trinary switch will switch the AC off, do you know what condition your condenser is in?

While under a 75 last weekend, the wire can be seen looking at the bottom of the compressor, towards the front of the car. Then it goes up and disappears in what looks like a connector... Rob
