Default Aircon help!

My ZT has been off the road for 6 months and is now back on. I needed to use the ACC system earlier this week but I was surprised to find that cool air wasn't blowing out.

I need some help diagnosing it.

I have changed my spark plugs recently, and needed to disconnect what I believe is the trinary valve plug from the AC pipe, so I could gain access to the bulk head plates to remove them. Hasn't worked since then for definitely.

Things I've checked:
  • Pressing "Auto" causes the raditior fan to come on
  • Pressing "Off" kills the fan
  • I can't hear the compressor engage

all help is appreciated, I could be very low on refrigerant but want to rule out everything else.

If your gas is low, the pressure switch won't allow the AC to work!

There is a wire connected to the compressor to engage the clutch when ac is switch on/needed, if not connected no aircon. Perhaps worth a look/check.

The AC will run until it gets too hot then the trinary switch will switch the AC off, do you know what condition your condenser is in?

Problem sorted? If not:
While under a 75 last weekend, the wire can be seen looking at the bottom of the compressor, towards the front of the car. Then it goes up and disappears in what looks like a connector...
