have used these they dont last that long,i do a lot of miles so brake use is high.
If you do the 10,000 miles a year they should be fine. mine lasted about 20,000 OK for the price. |

How long would you expect at set of disc's to last? Surely a set would last more than 20 odd k.

Most of these prices on face value, appear good... but check out the postage and packaging prices that accompany them!!!!
A good visit to your local car factors, often give great prices, plus, as with a lot of the OEM stuff, if its wrong or doesnt fit, you can always take them back to the shop, unlike the return postage & packaging for the online stores... Buyer beware... |

I would not fit cheap parts. I purchased cheapish (non OEM) rear brake discs and pads. They suffer from brake squeel despite having cooper grease applied.
I even took them off and re applied copper grease to no avail. The discs have also rusted very noticably on the hub which although only cosmetic is unsightly. When I changed the fronts I paid a little more for genuine Rover discs and pads and there is no squeel and they look much better. I will be removing the rears soon and putting a set of oem discs and pads on. No more pattern parts for me not woth it in the long run it is a false economy. Ed. |
