Removal of the dreaded tinworm
My 75 is having the rot removed from the sill areas around the jacking points here are a few photos to show the work, the first is the 'patch' done to get her through the MOT last year and the rest ' the proper job'
This was done by the same fella that did Dawn's car, I can't reccomend him enough, I'll send pics of the other work later. Sent from my SM-J500FN using Tapatalk |

Roy you should make more effort to clean those areas of your car to stop this happening like I do

To be honest it's really my fault for not keeping on top of it, once I get it back and the weather warms up I'm going to flood it with some jollop to hopefully stop it happening again, I'll post pics of the other side and the front sill when I get chance.

I really wish I could find a welder near me that finishes the job off that good
I only have an "MOT welder" as per the first picture. Who plasters everything with black underseal.....not matter the colour of the car. He doesn't get the aesthetic point of view |

Given the increasing demand for this repair perhaps there's an opportunity for the club to encourage one of the after-market panel companies to run off a batch of sill repair sections?
Would save Tom and others having to recreate from scratch each time.
