Default A bit of mothering..

Sat earlier in the back garden enjoying a beer when I noticed a small movement on the lawn. Under closer inspection it was a very small rodent, a vole. The poor mite was less than two inches long.

Anyway, I called the wife who decided the vole could do with a bit of nourishment and gave it some oats and a drop of milk.

Placed in a box with some food and placed in the garage, we decided to give it a few days before release. The best chance we could give it.

Hi Pab,

Well done rescuing the Vole, just a word of warning.
Cows Milk is very bad for Hedgehogs and I would guess maybe the same for Voles as well.
May be worth searching google or such like
