Coo.... it seems that I have opened a total can of worms!

All I mentioned in the first post was the fact that I would like a simple piece of software that would give me the ability to read codes, clear them and change the dealer options.

I didn't want it to get into 'name calling' or saying that 'this software only came out because I wrote this software' or even the 'my software is better than yours'

From my point of view, we have 2 bits of software/hardware that are available now and have to be paid for, and another bit of software that will be available for free (but we don't know when it will be released!).

I feel this topic has been beaten to death again.

Have to agree Mike, going round in circles. Choices are there, make up your mind which version you prefer
