Default Plenum Drains - Pollen filter ECU ?

Hi all,

So I spotted the car was misted up, tell tale sign there must be some water inside, I hoped I had left a window slightly open.
Turned out the drivers plenum chamber was blocked.

Cleaned out the plenums, a bit different on the V8 it seems. No rubber tubes, instead a small diameter metal tube, sadly easily blocked on the drivers side - dammit - so I have a little water to dry out from the carpet.

Under the windscreen scuttles, I of course found the pollen filter, which I will also replace, but where is the ECU for these V8's? On the other Rovers/MG the ECU is in the same chamber as the pollen filter

Any one done any sort of mod for the plenum chambers, especially the drivers side, since the drain tube is so small, thinking of doing the Jules type mod to stop debris from getting into the chamber, but what about drilling a bigger diameter hole - treat the newly cut metal and put in a wiring grommet.
Any thoughts one and all.
Cheers
