Information Gathering
I hate being watched, tracked, quizzed etc., and this really winds me up. Because I looked at a hollow bodied guitar the other day, I have been bombarded with ads from Temu, Etsi and Ali Baba! Even to "unsubscribe" (to stuff that I hadn't subscribed to) you have to log on! Log on? Jog on! I just blocked them instead.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-68675652 Plus............. I just had to return yet another piece of Far Eastern c*ap that didn't work, straight out of the box (which was covered in German addresses but was still made in the PRC !)

When a website offers you the option of rejecting cookies, always do so remembering to seek out the "legitimate interest" tab to reject those as well. If you're using any Google services (including the Chrome browser) be especially vigilant as it makes its money from selling your "data" to advertisers. You might see a notice that rejecting all cookies will prevent the site working properly but I've never found that to be true. Even on-line banking works perfectly with everything rejected. Simon
