Lake District 2018

Just testing the waters the usual group of us mentioned a trip to the Lake District next year it would be a Monday to Friday takeing in Blackpool,fleetwood market then onto somewhere in the Lake District,i.e Ambleside,Windermere,Kendal or anywhere we can get accommodation all together,all previous trips have been a damn good time with damn good people,it's a group decision and I'm open to suggestions,places of interest and maybe able to arrange with some up country fellow forum names a midweek meet,so here it is fire away with questions and suggestions,prices and dates can't be posted up yet due to needing names and available dates act cheers and hope we can get this one off the ground as it's an absolutely lovely part of Great britian

Might be an idea to contact the RS for the area, BlueJohn, he will be able to give you a few ideas on places to stay, places to visit.

Best put our name on the list as well then.

The more interest I get the better chance of going ahead shout some dates at me guys to be able to work with preferably not high season or kids holidays as the prices triple in some accommodation/ etc if it too expensive some folk would rather go abroad etc
