I doubt it........MG Rover would have had reasons to cap the output at 160bhp from higher strain on the engine to emissions to out performing the larger engined variants and a compromise model with power when needed and economy at the same time.......
K series engine with the updated ladder and gasket parts should easily handle 180bhp tuned |

two stages were mentioned 177 and 187 bhp and a better pull from low revs,which the engine lacks.

Is that just from the 1.8T or is there mapping that can be done on the 1.8?

I had to take it because I believe it was bullying the whole showroom. Think I have the only car with a ASBO..Had the car about 3 weeks now and I still smile everytime I get in it

Of all the versions, is the 1.8T the fastest, or would that be the 2.5 V6?
