Default Brake pedal pulse

Hi Guys,
I have developed a pedal pulse at low speed when braking, it is not Discs as not transmitted through steering, so thinking on the ABS?, what would I need to look at to determine and rectify, any suggestions?
Cheers. Oh on a 2005 ZT Diesel.

It is likely to be a plausibility issue with one of the ABS sensors, usually the rear caused by a build up of rust on the stub axle where it comes through the brake backplate.

I would suggest a trip to see Phil-T4 for a T4 session, it'll take the guesswork out of the equation

Hi Brian
funny enough phil had it on the T4 this week, did not show anything he done a full health check and reported a number of things but not the sensor possibility.

Warped discs don't always show through the steering and they would be my first guess.

I've got badly warped discs on the front at the moment which are being changed on Saturday and they've been causing pulsing of the brake pedal.

Hi, my cdt had the same thing, the rear discs were corroded, but not overly worn down(probably due to it standing for some time) & caused the same problem, new discs & pads & its cured.

Easy way to see if its the ABS is to pull the fuse - if it's still doing it, it's not that!

Do the symptoms you've been getting sound the same as what I described in another thread as "when I brake (from any speed), just as the car is about to come to a halt, I feel that momentary rapid pulsing judder in the brake pedal when the ABS kicks in"?

Yes mine sounds very similar, it only starts as I start to come to a halt, I don't feel it as soon as I brakes from 70 down to 40 it does not do it but just as I am about to stop it starts would say from maybe 20mph to complete stop.
