Ah no, you cannot under any circumstances use the chip with the Kit....

I thought you meant some other chip...

Not to worry.

260 has a box standard Mustang engine. The only difference is the Roush tune in the EEC-V and the different 5th gear in the gearbox.

The J3 port will still work with the 260 and imported KB chargers.

Imported Stangs without changes run on the fuel here as well.....

There must be some misinformation in here somewhere then, as the people in the know I speak to, say that under no circumstances would the Kenne Bell standard map work safely and effectively on the 260.

Happy to be proven wrong, but I cant imagine the Kenne Bell tune would make 410Bhp..

But if your knowledge is better than mine on this matter, then please educate me, as I would LOVE to fit it myself in all honesty.

Not sure what the cheapest price you can get your mitts on a kenne bell kit is these days... Was hoping for under £5k from somewhere.

Never said it was safe, just said it would work.
The chip provided will work on the J3 port.
Keeping in mind American driving.

If people push it north of 5000 rpm for prolonged periods of time things will go pop. It's possibly running to lean.

Brian spent quite some time to get the mapping safe for the European way of driving. But.................it's still a mustang engine so.....if driven like in the states the J3 will do, or a Predator tune for that matter.

This plus the charger must be costing an arm and a leg!

You must love your Tourer, what milage does she have?
It had lots of small repairs that were very poorly executed so the only thing to do to get it right was a respray. It's only done 50,000 miles

Can't wait to see the finished results - how long 'till it's finished?

Personally, I cannot wait to see the results of the respray. Do you have any other pics of the car in 'prep? If so, I'd love to see them.

It'll be like getting a new car once the painting is done - bet you can't wait!!

Looks like a good job going on there Les.

Have a silver ZT here which I think deserves a better colour.
I've always considered silver is NON colour ......bit like bare metal !!

Anyway one less silver one on the globe might just happen.
Imagine a ZT in this colour ............ok it's Renault Flame red but wow in the flesh you need sunglasses.

It will make Copperleaf & Firefrost look decidedly dull !!
