I think my one is very special, completely unmolested Solar Red Tourer with 50,000 miles on the clock. Previous owner a little old lady, and I'm not joking. I phoned her to tell her she had left CD's in the car and she asked where the car is now etc. The only reason she sold it was because she retired and bought a smaller car. Mm just had a thought maybe she retired from being a racing driver

Anyone give me a bit of advice on this one from another thread.

Is this worth the money. Gorgeous looking car but the Cat D worries me in terms of resale value. I'd love a Solar Red one.

If you intend to keep it for a while I wouldn't worry too much about the resale value. The repair is done to a good standard and you like red.
(which will be the colour of your bank statement after monthly fuel bills

Car used to be on V8 COY and probably mentioned elsewhere on here.

It says 4600 ono so open to negotiation it seems. If you want it, try to get the cost of AA inspection of the price and show the AA the pics before repair so they know where to check.

Often stolen and recovered after claim has been paid. Or it maybe a vehicle where parts are difficult to obtain so a quick repair is unlikely. Does not need VIC inspection to return to road. Notification will appear in your vehicle history check

If you buy a v8 I would go in with my eyes wide open. You'll only ever get a get a decent price from a private sale- if you can sell it... traders dont want them and that causes book prices to be very low.
