Default Dosing pump.

I've been looking for a fbh and I've found one confirmed working but the pumps rusted badly so I'd like to fit a new one.
There is a few different models and a vast seat if prices does anyone know the model number of the pump?

Have a look at this site for a new one at £78. JEX100090 is a part number from Rimmers site. Unfortunately it is a pump only and you will need the bracket and rubber mountings.

I got mine from Germany via eBay for about £35 years ago.

I can't promise they fit, but they look the same?

I recently bought this one -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1713156963...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Which is installed and working without issue. If you need a (rusty) bracket I've got an extra (came with a non-working pump) I'll send it for postage: just PM me.

Webasto part no is 82553B. 2013 price £253.28 + vat

As long as you find one for a Thermo Top, it should work fine

Thermo Top heats water (like in our cars), Air Top heats air (like in a truck/van cab heater).

It's just what Webasto call our types of heaters.

We have Thermo Top C/Z type heaters.

Pages 26 for the full kits and 28-31 for spare parts

Thanks for the pointers.
I looked at them and thought they looked similar but wanted to check.
Good to know there fuel enough as the seller is now wanting more to include the exhaust.
Might take a punt as should be easy enough to make one up.

I would clean up the outside of the pump and paint it with a rust proofing paint such as por 15. I have had 2 very badly rusted on the outside. cleaned up and painted and fitted and worked ok.

Easy to test. connect the pump to the fuel system and keep flashing 12volts across the terminals. you should be able to hear the pump clicking and in time it will pump fuel. It does help if you can suck on the outlet of the pump to help draw fuel into the pipes. I used a scalextric transformer to supply the 12v .
