Default An idea of what it means...

Came across this......

http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/...howtopic=15805

QUOTE "starts Friday 3rd october from Enfield, North London. Departure is at 6.30 PM and from there we drive to many control stops vis Edinburgh, John O Groats, West Highlands, Carlisle, North Wales, Lands End, Southampton and then back to Enfield for a 6.30PM finish on Sunday night."

So it is possible to do in one weekend. Albeit these guys are doing the whole thing, all we would need to do is various legs. I know it'll take some organising, I would be prepared to help, but this time of year I've got various winter events I'm involved in locally, ie. organising and running. But quite willing to participate. (providing there are no clashes, even if there was, I would do my utmost to be a part of this)

If enough people are up for this, then it could be feasible And maybe fun

What do the officials think?

I can just imagine someone wanting something and using the Member 10th anniversary convoy to get it from bognor to glasgow or something. Perhaps a bumper

I can do the Dover to Toulon leg if it fits in with my UK visit, but someone else will have to do the return!

Seems to be a lot of interest..... Any ideas on how this can be achieved?

Is there anyone who can help in collating the information to make the "legs" connect?

Once we get a "route" then more detailed work of timings can be allocated. Those who have expressed interest do, I hope, realise that it could involve the wee hours of the mornings?

Due to the growing momentum of interest in this I am moving this to the "Events and Meets" forum and adding the usual disclaimer to the first post as unfortunately the Club cannot endorse this event but on a personal note I do wish you all every success.

Thanks Simon

I did not think it would be a club endorsable event, due to it's very nature

But thank you for your personal support Are you "in"?

Still have not heard if Fred the Ted would want to participate
