Default Diesel - aux belt change

I’m getting the crankshaft pulley changed shortly, (corteco) so thought I’d get both aux and a/c belts changed at the same time.
Is it advised to change the tensioners or any other pulleys at the same time, or just wait and check for play when the belts are off?

Hi Sean
Wait and check them or before hand if you can, but I have very rarely heard of anyone changing the tensioner at the same time, sometimes it may need tightening up Mike knock knows about that.

As Arctic says, it may need tightening slightly, otherwise it should be fine, I have only changed one tensioner and that’s because the bearing was squeaking.

Up until now, the only tensioner I have ever had trouble with was the one on my 220 SD,at around 80,000 miles . It finished its life the day after we got back from Bournemouth after Christmas, one mile from home. Walked to my friends house, and he took me to West Bromwich to get another one. Lucky I would say.
