Morning all - a flying visit from me whilst the broadband is active. Still happily ensconced in the cottage, on the hill, overlooking Scarborough. Apart from the odd light shower during the night, we've had mostly blue skies and sunshine since Monday morning. Had a run down to Flamborough Head yesterday to admire the waves whipped up by the wind, and just about to leave for Whitby - gluten free fish'n'chips have been requested by SWMBO - and I always do as I'm told

Evening all, the rain has finally stopped (famous last words ) but it's still blustery.

My missus has been using that Vax rapide ultimate carpet shampoo machine I got off ebay the other month, what a cracking machine it is. It's embarrassing the dirt that comes from seemingly clean carpets,

The Moroccan tagine chicken was very nice, just a bit spicy but my missus wouldn't eat it too spicy for her so I made her a gammon steak with rice.

Train drivers hat tonight, I think Ill go down south Wales on the coastal route.

Edit: Changed me mind & decided to drive the HST 125.

The Vax is an excellent machine, we could not be without ours, the amount of muck the dog fetches in after a walk in the fields is something to behold!

Am I right in thinking there are car road tax changes come April 1st?

Good morning Ian

I watched the train video and I guess you are using it in 3-D with the special headset. I noticed the tall and slim on the platform waiting for the train. Being PC and not sexist, I did not see any of the big bottomed lol Looks like fun

Cool

Morning all.

Very blustery this morning, and wee bit damp.

The Bear is being towed in this morning to the American car garage. Hoping it’s not going to be very expensive to fix.

Morning all,

It's grim out there again today.

I'm off to Colchester and then on to Ipswich after.

I do hope they don't close the Orwell Bridge again or I'm in for a nightmare day of gridlock

The problem with home carpet cleaners,is they leave the cleaning solution in the carpet. This acts like a magnet to dirt, whereas a professional cleaning machine, will rinse the cleaning solution out, and leave it in a ph neutral state.
