I’ve got my mates 50th birthday party to attend tonight. I might be a bit squiffy come tomorrow morning

Cool

Morning everyone.

Hoping today is going to be like yesterday, sunny. Got some gardening done yesterday.
Still no sign of the Bear, think she must like it living in a cave/garage.

Lovely day here, bright and sunny . . . . not! Been chucking it down all day. Trying to build up the enthusiasm to crawl around up on the loft to replace the float valve on the cold water tank. Replaced the diaphragm in the valve a wee while ago but its not fully shutting off again. Valve must be 40 odd years old so I suppose its entitled to be a bit tired.

Good luck, old valves and pipe work spell disaster!!

Well.........It ain't going to happen !!

Sent my friends Wife (the organiser of said party) today to ask what he might like as a drink for his Birthday.

Got the message back saying not to panic as party cancelled

He had found and hit the roof for whatever reason so she has cancelled it.

She hadn't quite got round to telling all the guests yet it would seem

So............Camera Club it is then tonight, won't be getting squiffy after all
