I was trying to figure out how I could remove the engine and box , it would make a lovey trike engine.

Great pics again Andy.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, where do you find these places?

There are more out there than you think Wes, Europe is the place to be, there is a yard in Belgium that is full of old Triumph's! Most in unmolested condition.

When in Ipswich yesterday, nipped in to see the old Broome Hill outdoor pool or Lido, sadly neglected now although a trust has been set up to try and obtain permission to restore it to its former glory.

And how it used to look..

And just up the road from us lies this beauty, difficult to spot from the main road but fully intact even though it appears to have been stood for years (Complete with recovery crane on the back too)

It's been a while since we have been out exploring, popped in to Brandon stadium, the ex home of Coventry speedway, very sad to see it like this as I spent many a Saturday here watching the racing.

Sadly i think the stadium is destined for housing as far too much damage has happened since its closure (Metal theft / arson etc)

Accompanied by Meg, we had an undisturbed wander, sadly I couldn't see the referees box or Charles Ochiltrees office (The God of Coventry speedway) As there was lots of broken glass and i didnt want to risk Meg's paws.

I seem to remember going there back in the eighties when we were followers of BRISCA stock car racing. We only travelled to the further away stadiums for semi and final racedays and spent most of our spectating at Yorkshire and Lancashire venues. The sound of 20 or so highly tuned V8 engines still rings out in my mostly deafened ears!!!
