An happy 75 owner's blog
As the title suggests, just in case it might be of any interest to 75 lovers, here is my 2 years journal week after week I've kept up-to-date since the fifth day before my ownership. Mind there are lots of pics and 32 pages so far... Enjoy & don't be reluctant to react and mainly do be soft on my mistakes... Thanks.

Arnaud, you may wish to copy and paste your blog over here.
I for one cannot use .Org after it was sold to the Canadian outfit, simply by virtue of the staggering amount of advertising "pop ups" This is a shame, as it was a valuable resource for those of use with more than one type of Rover in our stable. Brian |

I'm deeply sorry for those who cannot see the blog. Nevertheless some of our mates here are still free members of the mg-rover.org or even subscribers.
But I ensure you can be registered for free and that it is absolutely possible to have access to the website without being harassed by any advert at all. It's just a question of browser parameters: I'm using Firefox with Adblock Plus and all is fine, no longer any pop-up & advert, I swear it, you have my word. I know that some of you here were fed up & left that site. Sad issue. @FLYING BANANA & @marinabrian I would love indeed to copy the blog but it's a massive work: 32 pages, 635 posts & mainly several pictures only hosted by that website that would involve besides to know which ones and to find another host for them. Phew! However I'm thinking of that but at the moment I can't see how to do it easily. Any wise idea will be very welcome. Thanks.

Perhaps a wee write-up for "Car of the Month" on here
I can see the thread no problem - I've been directed to that site/forum in the past, i've never liked the layout and struggled to read more than a couple of posts - white txt on a dark background, too many distractions (adverts) on the pages and this affects the flow when scrolling down a page I pay for my membership here for a reason Paul. |

The last fleet admiral
Hello pals! Very soon (D-5) I'll be delighted to present you my last purchase. As a Rover addict, it couldn't be another car but a Rover. Not even a Jag, and I love Jags nevertheless. But the Jags are no longer the Jags. It will be the fourth Rover in the family since 1990. I had chased her very long since but I knew what I wanted: Actual burr walnut, leather, two-coloured wheel, hi standard stereo, automatic clim, highc spec interior, good powerful & reliable engine, petrol and no diesel, nice looking body colour, good condition, not too many miles and so and so. And - don't forget - reasonably priced (in France of course. In the UK it's cheaper). To make it short outside the UK as rare as hen teeth! I bet you've already guessed what... But found her 250ml far from home. A brave journey by coach. I'll go next Thursday to pick off my second ladylove... So I wish to be able here to write a little chronicle with pics to show the mistress and eventually to inform day by day about my fortunes and good surprises (I've never driven with an automatic gearbox...) and - hope not - disappointments or misfortunes. But I do keep my bonnie lovely 25, now on my wife's car, and I've sold yesterday the Italian convertible (Fiat Punto 1.6 90bhp ELX Bertone 1995). Two Rovers in my garages: what a joy! Coming back soon...
