Default Whooping in France

Currently en vacances and hearing occasionally aircon whoops. With demist on fan works so if I drive on econ and get it regassed in Brexit Britain that should cure it?

Not necessarily, you may need a new resistor fitted, or, if it's 3 speed, new fan motor or bushes

If a regas doesn't fix it, check out the condenser. It's a common weak point caused by rotting of the cooling fins.

Bumper off, and it looks like a small radiator fixed to the front of the actual radiator at the bottom, you should be able to see condition of it from there, but if it needs changing fan needs to come off. Condensors cost approx £80.

You could also take a look by dropping the undertray which should give you an idea of its condition

Run a finger across the matrix, you'll soon know - the fins will simply drop away.
