Default 2.5 V6 Exhausts

Hi there, everyone

To my surprise the exhaust system on my 75 is NOT stainless steel throughout. In particular the pipe back from the catalyst looks 'doggy' and the rear box, Well !! Yes its OK now but I can't see it lasting the year out.

Anybody with experience of stainless exhausts for the 75? Last time I bought one it was for the wife's 25 1.8 Steptronic from a supplier here in Crewe who made it up from parts made in South Africa. The company is called PowerFlow Exhausts and mainly seem to serve the 'hot hatch' market. Anyway I was quoted not a great deal of moneyfor my 75 at less than £300

The only problem I had with the 25 was the car was a lot noisier for about 18 months until the exhaust got a carbon coating inside. I believe stainless has a ring to it that mild steel doesn't.
