I got dragged to a football match at the Everton ground verses Newcastle united as one of them never turned up for work on Monday morning so they gave me his ticket. Aye football and NUFC are a religion round these parts, I'm afraid I don't follow that faith though. Never been able to see the attraction, suppose its because my dad wasn-t interested either, so it was never introduced to me. Several mates have tried to drag me along to a match, but unsuccesfully. I would be bored after 30 seconds.

Good afternoon to anyone who is out there in the ether - I'm thinking of hibernating. Another cold, grey and drizzly morning here; I hope this isn't going to be the norm for the rest of Autumn (or indeed Winter) - i might have to use more central heating than usual

Cool

Morning all.

We have a lovely sunrise in the east and dark clouds in the west. Guess it’s going to rain at some point then. Glad I got the grass cut and the weeding done yesterday.

Morning all dry and bright here today. Visited hospital again last night, the plans for her future care seem to change on a daily basis. She was due to see consultants at another hospital next week, turns out she won’t now, and samples of fluid drained from her will be sent to them instead.

Morning all from Rhodes, it’s 24 here already and I’ve made a couple of friends..

Off to the supermarket to fetch them some treats.

Morning everyone and the "Jet Set" people in Rhodes There's a strange yellow thing in the sky here & no rain forecast

Red hot bath first thing this morning as I'm stiff as a board....in all the wrong places I can now bend & put me socks on.
Poached eggs on toast for brekkie & trying hard not top dribble egg yolk on me hipster beard balm.

Morning men - eh bah gum, the sun has reappeared - albeit after a night that was pretty close to being frosty. Just been out to the wheelie bins (we have three!) and there's a distinct Autumnal chill out there once you're out of direct sunlight.
