The coroner's inquest which follows will be interesting. It might well be more damning of the procedures than anything else, more so in he light of history of this type of event. The ejection sequence re the hawk's canopy is not best understood elsewhere atm where this is being discussed. The rear part of the canopy where Jonathan sat will have remained intact after R3 ejected. In 2011 another Rafat pilot, Sean Cunningham, tragically lost his life in an uncommanded ejection while the aircraft was still on the ground.
