B1 Mayflower
My wife and I treated ourselves to a night away without the kids. Dinner was served in a lovely cream and brown Pullman dining car, and hauled by the B1 Mayflower. It very nearly reached it's top speed, clocking 73mph at 1 point. Anyway, it stopped at Chertsey station to take on water from a tanker from the local fire brigade. I took advantage of the stop to try and get a few photos, not very good as I was in a rush to make sure I got back on board before it left. The last 4 photos are when we arrived back in Waterloo, but even with the station lights and using the flash they've come out a bit dark.

Yes, it was lovely. Something we've wanted to do for years, but we always said if we were going to do it, we'd do it properly, and go for the full pullman dining car. Usually priced at around £250 each, a bloke at work brought in a newspaper clipping to show me, a trip for £130 each including 3 course meal! We'll be doing it again!
