Fantastic photos, Bob! Thanks for sharing them here. We all loved the whole meet! And thank you for your most generous comment about Burt, Alan. It was great to meet you and I'm sorry our hillside conversation got cut short by the parking warden! Burt looked great and so much of that was down to Sean's passion to get this lovely part of the 75 heritage looking immaculate. We've still got a way to go but he's definitely very presentable (Burt; not Sean!) I make no secret of my friendship with Sean and I agree that he is a massive loss to this community. I wish there were a way something could be done about it.

Many thanks to Gary & Nikki for a great event.
Nice to meet everyone new and old. You all missed the two V8 following each other back home as far as Shepton Mallet, its sounded great in the back V8 with the window down. Got back just after 5 O'Clock then had to clean the 75 Hearse because it was moved out of its garage on Saturday so I could clean the V8 but of course it rainned on it. |

Getting back into "Red" was like putting on that pair of really comfy old slippers you had forgotten you still had.. As you know we have never been out of the fold and despite not being a ZT owner for a while the club membership has still been paid and will continue to be paid. Now I have my weekends back Jan and myself will certainly try to attend some meets again and when our life has sorted it's self out and if I'm not stepping on any toes I will happily organise a Sammy Miller Museum meet (another get together that has become an annual event) later in the year if there is enough interest among the members.. Cheers and thanks for a great time over the weekend Ian and Jan |
