Afternoon gang, started off dry and reasonably mild this morning, now cold and raining. No more work for me until 6thJan at the earliest 😀Unless the job that was cancelled for Friday comes back to me and wants done on Wednesday.I spent most of yesterday doing stuff for mum, took her for haircut, made her dinner, did her shopping, wrote her Xmas cards out , gave her tea then took her for evening mass.
Needless to say I’m really tired today didn’t surface TIL 11, which is unusual for me, I’m normally up and about by 10.30 at the latest. Got appointments for next couple of days, then Xmas food shopping on Wednesday.
I can’t have loads to drink on Xmas night either as I have to be up at 8 to take daughter to work for 9,as the buses don’t start until 10 on Boxing Day 👎no rest for the wicked.

This year I have a very special present for Georgies Mum (Lesley)

A handful of nuts and an Orange, and some boiled sweets,and of course a jigsaw puzzle with a piece missing.

I had that same present for years and It was the highlight of the year,then Grandad would appear with a Chicken and a Rabbit,which Nanny would take into the kitchen and turn into something wonderful for Christmas Dinner,afternoon was doing the puzzle and looking under the setee for the missing piece,then listening to the Queen.

Forecast for Christmas Eve here is sleet showers - with us being a bit higher, that could turn to snow. I'm sure I read somewhere that Ladbrokes were offering 1/2 for a white Christmas?
