A word of warning. If your watch or clock has a date window, don't attempt to change the time/date until well clear of the mechanism that changes the date activates... ie. Wait until the morning. If you try to change them whilst the date change mechanism is in action, you can damage them. I've seen several Omegas with a broken date wheel, just by trying to change them at the wrong time. Think of trying to change gear with no clutch or synchromesh and the wrong revs, whilst changing to four wheel drive at the same time!

Change clock in kitchen and the minute hand broke off

It is over 30 years old and is now in the bin

All putting the clocks back did for me was ensure I was not out of bed so late
